Empowering Parents as Teachers of Faith: A 3-Module Online Course

This course is for parents especially those with children in a Catholic School or parish religious education program. Parents, we want to help you understand your role as the primary faith educator of your children and provide some resources to help you fulfill your role. It is so easy for us parents to drop our children off at a parish religious education program or enroll them in a Catholic school and think we have done our job. In reality, the most important religious education happens at home. Parents, schools, and parishes are all important partners when it comes to educating and forming the faith of children.

About the course

The course can be taken individually or parents can watch the videos together and use the discussion questions to learn from each other.

The course includes short video presentations and  questions for personal reflection or group discussion. We provide links to helpful resources. The course is based on any time learning. Log on whenever convenient and complete the course at your own pace.
